Indication

Prednisolone is indicated when the anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive effects are required:

- Rheumatoid arthritis, systemic erysipelas, some vasculitis; temporal arteritis, periarteritis nodosa, sarcoidosis, bronchial asthma, ulcerative colitis, hemolytic anemia, granulocytopenia, and severe allergic reactions including anaphylaxis.

- Cancer, like acute leukemia, lymphoma, breast cancer, and prostate cancer in the late stage.
